The Minnesota Horse Council, a Minnesota not-for-profit Corporation, was founded in 1935 to provide a vehicle for horse owners and exhibitors to coordinate horse activities with the Minnesota State Fair Board. From this humble beginning the Minnesota Horse Council has evolved to be an umbrella organization uniting and supporting all statewide equine activities. The Minnesota Horse Council shall encourage and support equine related activities, concerns and education.
